Mission Statement
RTCM has adopted a mission statement to empower and focus on the primary goal of equipping God's people for the service of God both within and beyond itself. Under the supervision of the Faculty and the Board of the College, students are encouraged to do evangelism and mission works among non-Christians.
Reformed Theological College prepares students for effective service in church and mission vocations by providing biblical-based, Christ-centered, ministry-directed education and training from Reformed perspective. Reformed Theological College also seeks to provide all students, whatever profession or calling they choose to pursue, with the intellectual and spiritual foundation requirement for Christian living and service.
A distinctive feature of RTC is that her educational program concentrates on Reformed perspective of Christian Ministry. We also believe that our students must be trained to perceive the non-Reformed world views that shape the world especially in Myanmar. We believe that to be faithful to the gospel of the kingdom, the College must prepare its students to proclaim the gospel fearlessly and faithfully. This preparation must include all aspects of preaching, from solidly grounded exegesis into well-articulated and effective pulpit style. This preparation is the focus of all courses taught at the College and not only the concern of a few preaching classes.
