Library and Expenses
LIBRARY
RTC pursues to have a better library that will enable, equip and nourish students’ understanding in theology and other areas. At present, RTC has over 2000 volumes books in the library. We are praying for the betterment and advancement of the College Library in the future.
LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS ü Registered borrowers may borrow up to 3 books at any one time on two week loan. They may be recalled after a fortnight if required by another reader. The loan may be renewed in person and by letter or by phone.
RTC final students may borrow up to five books at any one time on three week loan.
RTC Faculty Members and staff may borrow up to 2 books at any one time on two week loan.
A fine 500 kyat may be charged for overdue books.
Reference works, periodicals and old or rare books may not normally be borrowed.
Readers must not write on, deface or otherwise damage books and other library materials.
Library users losing, defacing or otherwise damaging books and other library materials will be required to pay the full cost of replacement or repair.
Smoking, eating and drinking are not permitted in the Library.
Only RTC students may use extended hours.
Guests are not permitted.
You must not enter or stay in the Library after 5.00 pm (last entry 4.45 pm).
You must not take books out of the Library (even for a brief period) without borrowing them according to the proper procedure.
Food and drink must not be consumed in the Library under any circumstances.
Library users must comply with any instructions given to them by the Student Monitor on duty (or member of College staff).
EXPENSES
The following charges are for Bachelor of Theology, Bachelor of Ministry and Certificate of Theology programs students, which represent only a small portion of the expense of operating, reflects the fact that the churches and individual who support the college are vitally interested in aiding future ministries with their theological education.
Application Fee K. 3000.00
Tuition Fee/Boarding Fee/Misc Fee per-year K. 60,000. 00
Graduation Fee K. 7000. 00
Students will be billed for costs of courses offered during the semester. Fees may be paid to the Office Secretary of the College by four installments (June, July, August, September and October, November, December, January) but it must be paid before the final semester examinations. The estimate cost of educational and living expenses for nine months is K. 60,000.00 (exclusive of Application fee and Graduation fee) for one single student.
